| Farmers Cooperative Creamery’s Commitment to Quality
Our Quality Program surpasses State and Federal Standards.
All incoming tankers with raw milk product are required to follow FCC’s Tanker Seal Program and pass a visual, off odor, temperature and drug residue inspections before off loading.
FCC’s Lab is State Certified. Our lab test bulk tank samples from individual producer farms and any outside purchased milk for both quality and composition.
Quality tests include analysis for standard plate count (SPC), pre-incubation count (PI) and coliform count (COLI), added water, antibiotic residues, foreign sediment screens and somatic cell counts done by our Bentley Somacount 150.
Composition testing is critical for determining the value of the raw milk. Our FOSS MilkoScan FT 120 computerized equipment measures milk fat, protein and milk solids concentration.
FCC encourages its producer to produce quality milk with a Producer Quality Program that pays a premium to members that exceed the minimum requirements set by the FCC Board of Directors.
